Unamed Houserules
Here are all the changes I'm making from standard DnD 4e.
The Goal of these changes is to help create a faster-paced game, where injuries don't just heal overnight, magic is rare and fantastic, and badass people have to overcome great challenges through skill and determination.

Character Creation and Advancement
There are many flavour changes to Character Creation and some mechanical changes to the Level Up process. All this cam be found on a separate page, Character Creation
Dramatic Actions
There's a new set of rules that I'm adding in to allow characters who have their backs to the wall to turn it up to eleven and unleash a new level of badass. Check it out at Dramatic Actions.
Wealth & Magic Items
Characters will not be getting normal wealth per level, nor a normal number of magic items. Instead to acquire a magic item the party must embark on a quest specifically to do so. To make a magic item a character with the Ritual Caster feat must gather the required items of power, travel to a location of power, and perform a ritual of enchanting at a specific time. Or you may try to find one of the few existing magic items and somehow take it from its current owner.
Because of the lack of magic items, characters will be getting better stat boosts and bonus feats as per the Leveling Up Table. This means that Gold will no longer be needed to keep the game balanced, and can instead be used for awesome purposes such as buying land or bitches.
Magic Rituals
The entire ritual caster system is more or less being scrapped. Instead I'm going to be using a flexible ad-hoc system.
- Arcana is used for Arcane, Shadow and Psionic characters
- Religion is used for Divine Characters, and Wisdom can be used instead of Intellect.
- Nature is used for Primal Characters.
- Given a moderate amount of prep time the appropriate skill can be used to accomplish anything that another skill check could accomplish. The usage must make sense with respect to the Ritual Caster's power source, and the skill DC will typically be slightly higher.
- Can be used as a Dramatic Action to do some fairly crazy stuff.
Extended Rests
The length of an extended rest (the time required to regain your daily powers and healing surges) is no longer six hours. Instead it will be closer to a week, possibly longer depending on just how much rest and medical attention you're able to receive during this time.
Multiclass Feats
If a multiclass feat would grant you training in a skill in which you are already trained, you instead gain skill focus in said skill.
