About the Wiki

The Valsarn Wiki is a place for the roleplaying games that I'm running or playing in. It is a place for setting information to go, as well as information about the various campaigns that are being run. Also I would like to see it used by the players as a place to communicate outside of game time, as well as a place to store information about their characters, journals, inventory, and anything else that they can think of to use it for.

If it is your first time to the wiki, start by take a look at what the Current Game is. If you're a player, please create a page that has some information about your character. It doesn't need to be much, a couple lines is enough.

• Getting ready to try out the Dresden Files RPG. I'm excited to see how it goes.
• One shot game will be February 19th, hoping to start character creation by noon, and get the action started around the same time we order pizza.
• I'm currently trying to set up some templates on the wiki so that City and NPC info can be easily managed.

• After a year off, I'm back in the GM chair! This friday we'll be starting character creation for the DnD Commando Short Adventure.
• Make sure you check the page for some plot/setting info, as well as some character creation guidelines.

• I guess I should actually update the news here. We're now on the second session of Death Row.
• Check the Death Row NPCs category to see some info on the various characters kicking around.
• Players please create a page for your PC as well as one for any relations that your character has.
• Next session should have our first major fight. You can check out an example combat here.

• Last night we wrapped up the Talsarn Shom story arc of our DnD 4e game. Thanks be to Dan for a fun adventure.
• Next Friday, May 15th Friday, May 22nd, we'll be starting character creation for a short Burning Wheel game which I'm calling Death Row.

• The Megaversal Legion Adventure has come to a close, or at least been put on indefinite hold.
• Friday Oct 31st is going to be Halloween stuffs, and as such there will be no gaming.
• Friday Nov 7th is going to be a continuation of Thunderspire Labyrinth, a DnD 4e module.

• Character creation for the Megaversal Legion Adventure was last night. Unfortunately we're nowhere near having a party put together so Friday Sept 26th will need to be a second character creation session, moving the first date of actual play back to Friday Oct 3rd. Remember that Building characters as a Group is one of the key points that I want to focus on, along with having some clearly defined character roles that I can work with (See Three Up Three Down for an example of how to do this).
• I've started up the Diplomacy page. Included are links to the rules and a quick reference card.

• Initial discussion for the Megaversal Legion Adventure has begun, so I figure it's about time that I get some content up here on it. Character creation is expected to be Friday Sept 19, with play starting Friday Sept 26th.
