So I'm planning on putting together a one shot DnD game on Sunday, Jan 3rd 2010.

I'd like to have everybody over here with characters done around noon on Sunday, hopefully that works for you. We've got an MnM Meats gift card that'll be used to buy some snackage, but you're all welcome to bring anything else you like.

==Plot==
You must take the Moon Stone from the Shifter Cultists who currently hold it in their stronghold, deep in the Luminous Vale.

==Character Creation==
There's a couple things that I'm going to try that are a bit different. One is that I want the party to have a theme, both mechanically and flavourly. A couple examples would be a commando team, where everybody is trained in stealth and has a decent dex score. Another would be a group from the same magic school, so everybody is an arcane character.

Another change is going to have to do with character level and gear. I'm thinking of having one lvl 16 character with the gear of a 8th lvl character. An 8th lvl character with the gear of a 16th lvl. Then the last three will all be 12th lvl but instead of buying gear, must split the following amongst themselves:
*1 item from each tier(see below), including 1 uber item.
*Up to one tier 4 weapon for each character. This can be a backup weapon, off hand, or an implement for a character that usually uses melee attacks, etc...
*All of the Accessories listed.
*One consumable pack.

The players should work together to ensure that there is an even distribution of power, and that each character has access to gear that fits their concept.
